Cinema Day event held in Heydar Aliyev Palace

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“APA. A ceremony dedicated to the Cinema Day was held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace, APA reports. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism screened a video clip about the events, new films, awards, festivals and exhibitions over the past year. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said it was a report about one-year activity in the field of cinematograph. He said the most important event was a State Program signed by the President for the development of Azerbaijani cinematograph and added that the opening of new building of the State Film Fund brought new breath to the life of cinematograph. The minister said it was decided to hold festival of the films produced in the period of independence of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani movie â€œJavad Khanâ€, produced by â€œBizim Kinoâ€ center was shown at the event. The film was written by Sabir Rustamkhanli, directed by Rovshan Almuradli and starring Nureddin Mehdikhanli, Amaliya Panahova, Ramiz Novruz, Rafig Azimov, Salam Ismayilov, Nuriyyev Huseynova, Rovshan Kerimdukh, Gabil Guliyev. Photography director is Mahammad Majidi, composer â€“ Sardar Farajov, art directors â€“ Rafis Ismayilov, Rafig Nasirov and producer â€“ Heydar Dadashov. Rustamkhanli, Mehdikhanli and Almuradli shared their impressions about the film before the screening.
