Germany is interested in expanding cooperation with individual countries in the field of climate change, said Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany in Baku today within the framework of COP29, APA reports.
She underlined that in order to achieve progress in this field, both the strengthening of mitigation measures and the expansion of cooperation in the field of climate finance should be expanded: "The European Union and Germany are ready to cooperate in the field of climate finance support. In this field, it is very important to use the opportunities of international development banks and involve the private sector in this field. We are here as both Germany and Europe."
