Increasing the biodiversity of the liberated territories is in the spotlight. In accordance with the measures to increase biodiversity and restore the ecosystem, 33 gazelles were released to the territory of Jabrayil district, 5 falcons, 4 East Caucasian tour, 10 partridges, as well as 3 Bezoar goats were released to the territory of Kalbajar district, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov said at a meeting of the Working Group on Ecological Issues held in Khankandi, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.
"Also, to date, more than 1.3 million golden trout and bream fry have been released to the Basitchay, Hekarichay, Kondalenchay and Bargushad rivers, as well as to the Kondalenchay, Sugovushan and Khachinchay reservoirs," the minister added.
