Today's event in Baku is an important moment for ensuring that COP29 and COP30 work hand in hand to move toward real results, COP30 President Andre Correa do Lago said in a video message sent to an international event dedicated to World Environment Day (WED), hosted by Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He stated that this is a very important opportunity: “COP30 has been a very important step in ensuring that we enter the implementation phase of our goals. I am confident that the outcomes of the processes currently taking place in Baku will be very significant for the activities of Brazil's presidency leading up to the next stage, which will be held in Antalya in November. Therefore, I thank you for being together and for discussing what we truly need to do. I send my greetings to all of you and hope that we will meet again somewhere in the near future and continue this struggle together,” he said.
