A delegation from Azerbaijan will visit Türkiye to share our country’s COP29 experiences, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister and chief negotiator for COP29, Yalchin Rafiyev, told journalists, APA reports.
“As you know, Azerbaijan mediated for Türkiye to gain the right to host COP31. Following Azerbaijan, Türkiye’s hosting of this event in our region will help increase attention to environmental issues in our area. As a country with successful experience in this field, we have offered our support to the Turkish side. Türkiye is also interested in this. A visit of our delegation to Türkiye is planned in the near future, and within the framework of this visit, it will share its experience with the brotherly country,” Yalchin Rafiyev said.
