Russian air defense systems shot down 762 drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The ministry said that over the past day, Russian air defense systems intercepted 17 guided aerial bombs, two U.S.-made HIMARS rockets, and 762 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Russian Defense Ministry also stated that since the start of the "special military operation," it has destroyed a total of 671 Ukrainian aircraft, 284 helicopters, 168,852 unmanned aerial vehicles, 663 surface-to-air missile systems, 29,894 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,748 multiple launch rocket systems, 35,495 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 64,864 special military vehicles.
