The United States has sent search and rescue teams to Venezuela following the earthquake, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, the United States will further increase the number of search and rescue teams.
Rubio said that the most important assistance Venezuela currently needs is search and rescue teams.
Note that a magnitude 7.2–7.5 earthquake in Venezuela has left 164 people dead and 971 others injured.
