Georgian troops take control of over 70 percent of Tskhinvali

Tskhinvali – APA. Separatists of South Ossetia have only one point of resistance in Tskhinvali. APA reports quoting Regnum that Ossetians continue to resist in one post in Sarz Region. The road uniting South Ossetia and North Ossetia has been occupied by Georgian troops and the refugees can not leave the region. Mayor of Tbilisi Georgi Ugulava said the government troops had taken control of over 70 percent of Tskhinvali. He said a corridor would be formed for Tskhinvali residents to leave the place of military operations and they would cease fire from 15.00 till 18.00.
