According to the outcomes of 2008 Russia will make a profit of over $8.5bn. from arms export, deputy chief of Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Mikhail Dmitriev said, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti. The portfolio of combat vehicle orders, including domestic orders, amounts to $33bn. But Russia’s military industry is yet unable to cope with all available orders, as it lacks the respective capacity and experts. China, India, Algeria, Morocco, Venezuela and the Near East countries are standing in a queue for Russian ammunitions.
Russia made a profit of $7.5bn from arms export last year.
