Kazakhstanâ€™s capital celebrates its 10th anniversary

Baku. Tamara Grigorieva-APA. Ceremonies on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the Kazakhstanâ€™s capital Astana have started on Saturday. According to APA, Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived in Astana on Friday to attend the anniversary events. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev, Turkmenistanâ€™s President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov, Kyrgyzystanâ€™s President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Tajikistanâ€™s President Emomali Rahmon, Armenian President Serj Sargsian, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and King Abdullah II of Jordan are expected to arrive in Astana on Saturday. Kazakhstanâ€™s President Nursultan Nazarbayev will deliver welcoming speech at the solemn ceremony in the capital. Then other heads of states will address the ceremony. A gala-concert with the participation of the artists from the different countries is scheduled to be performed within the anniversary events. On Sunday CIS leaders gathered in Astana will hold their unofficial summit.
