State of emergency in Georgia lifted

Georgia has lifted the state of emergency it imposed nine days ago amid a wave of opposition protests.
Transmission of all TV channels was suspended in the country, ruling out Public Television, cinemas and concert halls stooped their activity during state of emergency in the country.
Meanwhile, Georgian opposition leaders announced their intention to gather in front of parliament on Friday, one hour later the state of emergency was lifted, in order to make a statement and give a news conference on their future plans. Over 1000 people are reported to gather in front of the Parliament building within an hour. /APA/
