Baku. Real Jafarli -APA. Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani has met with Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi, APA reports. Rouhani said that Iranian and Syrian people are brothers: “Iran is against interference of external forces in internal affairs of Syria, concerned over this situation and criticizes the presence of armed groups in this country. We regret over the continuation of Syrian clashes. But we hope that in the near future peace and sustainable security will be established in this country.”
According to him, further development of relations between two countries in various fields is important.
Wael Nader al-Halqi thanked the Iranian government and people for their efforts in solution of Sryian crisis. The Prime Minister stressed their desire on enhancement of relations between the two countries.
