Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed the situation around Iran on the sidelines of the G20 ministerial meeting in Japanese Nagoya, APA reports citing the website of Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The most urgent regional problems were also touched upon, including the situation around Iran, the course of the Afghan settlement, and the state of affairs on the Korean peninsula,” the report said.
It is noted that the ministers also noted the closeness of positions on the issues discussed and confirmed the importance of continuing regular contacts for further deepening foreign policy interaction.
