The joint US-Israeli military operations against Iran, as well as Israel's actions against Iran-backed armed groups, have expanded opportunities for peace in the Middle East, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said, APA reports.
The statement, issued by the Prime Minister's Office, said that the joint US-Israeli military operation against "the genocidal regime in Tehran," along with Israel's dismantling of Iran's "axis of terror," has created an opportunity to broaden the circle of peace.
"The joint military operation by the United States and Israel against the genocidal regime in Tehran, together with Israel's destruction of Iran's axis of terror, has created an opportunity to expand the circle of peace," the statement said.
Referring to the position of US President Donald Trump, the statement also stressed that Saudi Arabia's accession to the Abraham Accords would be a historic step toward peace in the Middle East.
"Peace through strength," the statement concluded.
