An attack on Iran’s infrastructure would draw a “powerful and decisive” response, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said after President Donald Trump threatened to destroy an Iranian bridge or power plant for every ship attacked in the Strait of Hormuz, APA reports citing Iran International.
“Our defense doctrine is clear: eye for an eye,” Araghchi said on X. “Any aggression against Iran, including our infrastructure, will compel a powerful and decisive response.”
“Those who contribute to such aggression, whatever the kind of support, will also be considered as legitimate targets,” he added.
