Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it struck US military targets in Jordan, APA reports, citing Al Jazeera.
In a statement, the IRGC claimed that the missile attack had disabled the radar station of an air defence system located at a US military base, as well as an F-15 fighter jet inside a shelter.
The statement also said that the aim of the operation was to weaken radar surveillance in the region and create favourable conditions for broader strikes using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
It should be noted that the United States has not yet issued any official confirmation or comment regarding the IRGC’s claims.
