Fires in a forest in the village of Akchaova in Turkey's Aydin province have been extinguished, APA's correspondent sent to Turkey reports.
The fires in the area increased yesterday.
For this reason, employees of theState Fire Protection Service and Special Risky Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan were involved in the area.
The fire was localized and cooling was carried out during the operation, which lasted until late at night.
The firefighting operation was led by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev.
Deputy Chief of the State Fire Protection Service, Colonel Rza Khuduyev also took part in the firefighting operation.
