"Today, on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, another 200 firefighters will land at Dalaman Airport," Turkish Foreign Minister and former Antalya MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said at a press conference on the fires in Antalya, APA's local bureau reports.
Mr. Cavusoglu said that Azerbaijan had already sent a professional fire and rescue team and technical support to extinguish forest fires in Turkey and prevent them from escalating: "Yesterday, 162 firefighters and 40 firefighting vehicles arrived in Turkey from Azerbaijan via Georgia."
The Minister said that fires were stopped at critical points in Antalya, and 59 neighborhoods in 5 districts of the city were affected by the fire.
