The opening of the photo exhibition titled “European Squares” was held in Baku as part of the FantazEU Cultural Heritage Festival, APA reports.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the European Union to Azerbaijan, Marijana Kuyundžić, as well as ambassadors of EU countries.
Marijana Kuyundžić stated that the purpose of the exhibition is to build cultural bridges between Europe and Azerbaijan, to present the squares of several cities that are symbols of European culture, and to contribute to the development of cultural relations between the two countries.
After the ambassador’s speech, exhibition visitors viewed photographs of European squares and were provided with information about their history.
