The exhibition "The Splendor of Azerbaijani Carpets: Safavid Dynasty Treasure" will be held at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, the Ministry of Culture told APA.
The exhibition will feature 14 unique carpets and embroidery from the 17th and 18th centuries from the collection of U.S. citizen Amir Oskouei, as well as, a miniature from the 16th century depicting the epic "Shahnameh" will be showcased.
Among the artworks, the world-famous palace carpets with compositions such as "Afshan," "Goja," and "Khatayi" ("Dragon-patterned") will hold a special place.
