German actor Udo Kier, a well-known figure in Hollywood and European cinema who starred in more than 270 films, has died at the age of 82, said actor Delbert McBride, APA reports.
Kier played his first notable role in the 1970 Austrian horror film "The Devil's Seal". Later films in which he gained fame were "Body of Frankenstein" (1973) and "Blood for Dracula" (1974), in which he worked with artist Andy Warhol.
After his role in the cult film "My Own State: Idaho" (1991), Kier was often invited to big-budget Hollywood films.
His last film was the thriller "The Secret Agent" in 2025.
