United States and Iran have made modest progress in negotiations, but their positions remain far apart, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated at a regular press briefing, APA reports.
"Some progress was made yesterday. However, we are still very far apart on some issues," she said, referring to the talks between the Iranian and US delegations in Geneva. "As far as I know, the Iranians will get back to us with some details in the next couple of weeks. So the president will continue to monitor how events develop," Leavitt noted.
