US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that Washington reserves the right to use military force if negotiations with Tehran reach an impasse, APA reports.
"I think the president [US President Donald Trump] has a lot of options. We have a very powerful military. The president has demonstrated a willingness to use it. He also has a remarkable diplomatic team—and he has demonstrated a willingness to use it as well," the politician said in an interview with Fox News.
"But, of course, the president reserves the right to say when he believes diplomacy has reached its natural end. We hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, the decision will be up to the president," Vance concluded.
