United States President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday that the United Kingdom has given a "very late response" to his request to allow the US to use British military bases in the Iran war, APA reports.
"It's a surprise because the relationship is so good, but this has never happened before," he said, calling the UK "pretty much our first ally in the world." He concluded by saying, "They should have acted a lot faster."
Trump shared his disappointment with Australia, Japan and South Korea, commenting, "they should get involved ... I was a little surprised because they said no, because we always say yes to them."
