US has lifted sanctions against two Russians

The United States has lifted restrictive measures against two Russian nationals, it was announced in a statement posted on March 20 on the website of the Office of Foreign Assets Control, part of the U.S. Treasury Department, APA reports.

It follows that the restrictions have been lifted for Russian citizens Yuri Korzhavin and Lidiya Korzhavina, who were included on the sanctions list on May 1, 2024. Furthermore, a Hungarian citizen, an Uzbek citizen, and the UAE-based transport company Reliable Freight Services FZCO have been exempted from the anti-Russian measures.

Inclusion on the sanctions list means freezing assets in the United States and prohibiting American citizens and companies from doing business with those listed.
