The UN is extremely concerned about the buildup of military power in the Middle East and calls on the United States and Iran to continue negotiations to resolve their differences, said at a briefing by Stéphane Dujarric, the UN's official spokesman, APA reports.
"The Secretary-General is extremely concerned about the military buildup and military exercises we are seeing. We call on both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States to continue their Oman-facilitated negotiations," he said.
