US President Donald Trump stated that he is working hard to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, APA reports.
"I have been working tirelessly to end the loss of life [in the conflict] in Ukraine. <...> I thought this would be the easiest conflict [to resolve] given my relationship with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, which I have always considered good. But you never know what will happen; there are always many surprises, both good and bad," he said, speaking at the general debates of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
Trump reiterated that the conflict in Ukraine would never have started if his predecessor as US President Joe Biden had not come to power.
