US President Donald Trump escalated his warning to Iran on Wednesday, saying that the Islamic Republic "will pay a big price" for killing US soldiers, APA reports.
"They're going to pay a big price. They're getting decimated," Trump answered as he departed for Dover Air Force Base to attend the dignified transfer ceremony honoring four US service members killed in the Middle East. "A poll just came out; Americans don't want high gasoline prices, but they're not against the war, that just came out loud and clear," he added.
When asked about reports that Iran targeted American troops' barracks amid an investigation into how the soldiers were killed in Jordan, he said he was unaware of the report.
