Türkiye's new Consul General in Nakhchivan, Ali Sevim, has assumed office, APA reports.
The new Consul General met with Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün, on the occasion of assuming his duties.
At the same time, Consul General Ali Sevim received his exequatur (authorization document) from the Head of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ali Sevim, together with Ambassador Birol Akgün, also met with Gursel Ismayilzada, Head of the Department for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Western and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
