Russia has imposed sanctions on several executives of British defense industry companies, TASS reports, citing a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry said the decision was taken in response to London's hostile policy toward Moscow.
In its statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry claimed that Britain's remarks about a "defense dividend" for the country's military-industrial complex demonstrated London's profit-driven approach toward Ukraine.
The ministry also accused London of sacrificing Ukraine's statehood for the financial interests of private British companies.
