U.S. President Donald Trump has commented on Iran’s denial of reports about holding negotiations with the United States, Fox Business reported, APA reports.
The U.S. president said he was not sure what the Iranian side meant.
“It is difficult to get accurate information from Iran because the U.S. is destroying much of their infrastructure. Therefore, I don’t understand what Iran’s state television meant,” Trump said.
Trump emphasized that the talks took place last night between Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and their Iranian counterparts.
“I have given five days for the strikes on Iran’s electricity infrastructure to be stopped or postponed. This could happen sooner. But I have set a five-day deadline,” the U.S. leader concluded.
