US President Donald Trump claimed that American forces struck another boat off the coast of Venezuela, allegedly used for drug trafficking. He posted a statement in this regard on Truth Social, APA reports.
According to Trump, on the morning of October 14, under orders from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, "a vessel linked to a terrorist drug-smuggling organization was struck in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility off the coast of Venezuela."
"The strike took place in international waters and resulted in the death of six narco-terrorists on board," the White House incumbent said, noting that "no American military personnel were harmed."
