United States President Donald Trump awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor on Friday to the Artemis II space mission crew, APA reports.
The US president presented the medal to the four-member crew: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. The crew successfully completed a 10-day mission around the moon back in April, becoming the first humans in more than 50 years to travel beyond it.
"There is a spirit that we didn't see in this space so much, and now you've really brought it back," Trump stated during the ceremony at Johnson Space Center in Houston.
