Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Azerbaijan Paweł Radomski has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
During the meeting, a strong protest was expressed over biased, non-objective and completely unacceptable allegations directed against the Azerbaijani state and the country’s leadership in an anti-Azerbaijan report aired on August 26, 2026, on the “Eastern Express” program of Poland’s public broadcaster TVP (TVP World), as well as the provocative behavior of the host during the program, and a note of protest was presented to the Polish side in this regard.
It was brought to attention that the dissemination of information distorting the truth at a time when the normalization and peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia is underway and Azerbaijan is making determined efforts to ensure lasting peace, stability and security in the region raises questions on the Azerbaijani side.
The broadcasting of content of a negative nature against Azerbaijan by a public broadcaster funded by the Polish government was assessed as an unfriendly step that contradicts the spirit of the existing partnership between the two countries and has the potential to seriously damage bilateral relations.
The Polish side was urged to take urgent and effective measures to stop such provocative campaigns targeting Azerbaijan.
