August 28 marks the 34th anniversary of the massacre committed by the Armenian armed forces against peaceful Azerbaijanis in the village of Balligaya in Goranboy district, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan said in a post on its X account, APA reports.
“We commemorate with deep respect the memory of the innocent people who lost their lives in Balligaya and once again emphasize the importance of ensuring that the crimes against humanity committed receive a legal assessment and that those responsible are brought to justice,” the post said.
