Another group of families has been relocated to Shukurbayli village in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
As part of the relocation carried out on August 28, 15 families comprising a total of 86 people were relocated to Shukurbayli village.
The relocated families are internally displaced persons who had been temporarily settled in various regions of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
The families were presented with the keys to their new homes.
The residents returning to their native land expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the state care provided to them. They also expressed their gratitude to the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army who participated in the liberation of the territories from occupation and paid tribute to the martyrs.
Representatives of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts and the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons attended the ceremony.
