Azerbaijan’s new Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Fakhraddin Ismayilov, has presented his credentials to the organization’s Director-General, Khaled El-Enany, he announced on his X account, APA reports.
The post reads:
“On 27 August, I presented my credentials to H.E. Prof. Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO, and assumed formally my new position as the Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO.”
Fakhraddin Ismayilov noted that he had begun performing his duties as the Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO.
It should be noted that on August 6 of this year, Fakhraddin Ismayilov was recalled from his post as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe and was appointed Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO.
