The source described the matter not as a “negotiation process,” but as a “discussion about the future.”
It was added that the dialogue between Rubio and Castro is not being conducted through Cuba’s official diplomatic channels.
“The current regime in Cuba must go. That is our position, but it appears that President Trump must make a decision on this. However, he has not yet done so,” the source emphasized.
