Eighty-three percent of the buildings in Gaza City, including roughly 81,000 housing units, have been damaged by Israel’s operations in the area to date, a preliminary analysis from the UN Satellite Center finds, APA reports.
The data is shared by UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric during a briefing with reporters.
Dujarric also noted that in the past two years, approximately 42,000 Palestinians have suffered life-altering injuries, around 10,000 of whom were children, and more than 5,000 amputations have been recorded.
