Baku-APA. Egypt’s ruling military decided on Monday to allocate 100 million Egyptian pounds (about 17 million U. S. dollars) to establish a social fund for the victims of the unrest, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The fund will be responsible for listing the victims, providing the required medication and rehabilitation for the injured according to their needs, official MENA news agency said.

It will provide suitable jobs opportunities for the families of the victims and the injured after their recovery and create small projects for them, it added.

The military issued a decree on Thursday to establish a fund for social and health services to the victims of the social turmoil and their families.

At least 800 people were killed and more than 6,000 were injured in the massive protests that toppled the regime of former President Hosni Mubarak on Feb. 11.
