The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) expects Armenia to announce a decision on holding a referendum by December, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said, APA reports.
According to Galuzin, Armenia’s position on the referendum will be taken into account at a meeting of the heads of state of the EAEU countries.
“It is clear that if the call for a referendum is not heeded by that time, the leaders will take this fact into account when determining appropriate future joint steps regarding Yerevan,” Galuzin noted.
