An attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic drugs into the country has been prevented, APA reports, citing the Press Center of the State Border Service.
According to the information, as a result of border search and operational measures carried out in the service area of the “Horadiz” border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the State Border Service, a total of 35 kilograms and 85 grams of narcotic drugs and 1,980 Methadone M-40 tablets containing psychotropic substances were discovered and removed from illegal circulation.
Operational and investigative measures into the case are ongoing.
