On August 10, as part of his visit to the United States, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov held a meeting with Andrew Stowe, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of further developing the partnership between the two countries across a broad spectrum.
During the discussions, particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America, as well as the outcomes of the Baku Economic Dialogue.
In addition, the sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their readiness to continue close interaction and consultations on issues aimed at promoting peace, security, and prosperity.
