SSAC announces results of aptitude test on journalism specialty

Baku. Fariz Mirzayev – APA. The State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) has announced the results of the aptitude test held on July 31 for applicants who want to study the specialty of journalism as a bachelor at universities in the academic year 2015-16.
 
The SSAC told APA that 178 out of 341 applicants have not participated in the examination. 
 
57 (51 from the Azerbaijani sector, 6 from Russian) out of the 163 applicants who took part in the examination got acceptable marks. Two applicants got their results cancelled because they wrote self-introductory information on their essay sheet, failing to comply with the rules of examination. 
 
Those with acceptable marks can select the specialty of journalism as well when filling in their e-application.
 
On August 5 (from 10:00 to 17:00), a commission of appeal will operate at the SSAC to consider appeals associated with examination results. Those who want to appeal to the commission must register by presenting their national ID card on August 4.
 
Note that, the commission of appeal will be established at an administrative building of the SSAC at 28 Salamzade str.
