Results of 4th Nationwide Children's Art Contest â€œEmergency situations from the view of childrenâ€ publicized - PHOTOSESSION

The opening of the exhibition has been attended by the Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov, Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov. The ministers viewed the stands, got acquainted with children’s handicrafts.

Handicrafts of the pupils who attended the contest, which lasted from March 15 to May 10, 2014, were displayed at the exhibition.

The purpose of the contest was to form the culture of safe life activities in children, draw the society’s attention to the problem of emergency situations, educate the growing young generation in the patriotic spirit, and discover talented children.

Pupils presented their works on the nominations of “Picture”, “Placard”, “Handicraft”, “Soft toy”, and “Model of fire-accident rescuing technique” and “Poem” to contest, attended by general education schools of the republic’s all cities and districts.

The Organizing Committee of the contest received 345 pictures, 211 placards, 127 handicrafts, 81 models, 67 soft toys, and 63 poems .

The works presented to the competition were assessed by the jury consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Education, the Union of Artists, the Union of Composers, the Union of Writers, and the Academy of Arts.

Among the participants, 23 pupils ranked 1st, 32 pupils 2nd, 28 pupils 3rd, and 26 pupils were given stimulating awards.
