Minister: Unemployment Insurance Fund expenditures expected to increase by 19.8%

"In 2027, revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund are projected to reach AZN 268.9 million, which is AZN 30.6 million, or 12.8%, more than the approved figure for 2026," Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev said, the Ministry told APA.

The minister made the remarks during the first reading of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027" at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis committees on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology; Labour and Social Policy; Health; and International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations.

The minister stated that the fund's expenditures for 2027 are projected to reach AZN 319.2 million, which is AZN 52.8 million, or 19.8%, more than the approved figure for the current year.

He noted that 444,000 people are expected to be involved in active employment measures next year using funds from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
