Operating schedule of institutions in Baku to be changed during European Games

Under the order, from May 1 to July 1, 2015, the work schedule of employees (excluding those working in shifts and employees of educational institutions) of the state authorities, enterprises and organizations operating in Baku will be determined in a graded manner, considering their labor function, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

 

Under the order, 25 percent employees will work from 8:00 to 17:00, 25 percent from 8:30 to 17:30, 25 percent from 9:00 to 18:00, and 25 percent from 9:30 to 18:30. Moreover, 50 percent of employees (excluding those working in shifts and employees of educational institutions) of non-governmental enterprises and organizations operating in Baku will work from 8:00 to 17:00, and another 50 percent from 8:30 to 17:30.

 

From 1 April 2015 onwards, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Transportation and the Baku City Executive Power are due to provide necessary information to the population through mass media regarding the measures mentioned in the order. In order to prevent the illegal parking of vehicles in Baku, the Interior Ministry and the Baku City Executive Power, from 1 April 2015 onwards, are also due to carry out public awareness work.
