Head of the medical care department of the Health Ministry Gulmirza Poladov told the aforesaid at the board meeting on outcomes of 2015, APA reports.
He said that patients who appealed to the commission got proper appointments upon examination. “Currently, 2,356 such patients are receiving long-term treatment at the expense of state”, he said.
Poladov mentioned that the Ministry of Health has developed an “Action Program for 2016-2020 on combating HIV/AIDS” and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers. “The program is focused on conducting a wide range of preventive measures to solve disease-related problems, providing the patients with antiretroviral drugs, care and support for continues treatment, supply of modern equipment and reagents for laboratory services and training of personnel in this field”, said the department head.
