In this regard, the Cabinet of Minister has made amendments to the “Rules on form, content and submission of annual financial reports of non-governmental organizations”, APA reports.
The rules on submission of annual financial report have also been amended. A non-governmental organization is to submit its annual financial reports to the Ministry of Finance not later than April 1 of every year after the end of the reporting period.
If a non-governmental organization evades from the submission of its annual financial report, the related executive power body orders the organization to submit the relevant statement within 30 days through a written notification. A non-governmental organization which neglects to submit its statement in this period will be legally responsible.
The Ministry of Finance is to inform the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Taxes about the branches and representations of foreign NGOs in Azerbaijan till June 1 of every year.
