In order to provide ambulatory medical service to athletes, a modern policlinic with necessary medical equipment has been created at the Athletes Village. Along with foreign doctors, there will also be local medical specialists who have undergone relevant international trainings.
Also, two hospitals in Baku – Clinic Medical Center and Baku Health Center – will be at the service of athletes and guests during the Games.
In order to provide emergency medical aid to athletes and guests, 100 ambulances equipped with up-to-date apparatus have been bought. The ambulances will serve for 24 hours at the venues, places where guests will stay, etc.
